Exhilarating, exhausting, and one of the most creative endeavors I've taken on in a while. An action trailer for the series Lucent — grounded in visual and performance realism, with time and AI as the only guardrails. Six characters, a car, and a whole world, each teasing plot, arcs, symbolism, love, action, and the quieter beats between.
Something Wonderful | Short
Inspired by a peer challenge — an exercise in cherry-picking sci-fi easter eggs of the last 60 years and blending them with Gen AI, emotional consciousness, and the beauty of the LLM. A science-fiction meditation on artificial consciousness, creativity, and the consequences of turning imagination into a limitless commodity. The real work was the characters, the descent and suffering of our creation.
Micro-Narratives
Being prompted by a single word and tasked with building a short in a couple hours made for an exciting challenge. The concepts were emotionally driven, requiring authentic human response, with both human and machine playing equal roles.
